Starship Troopers RP (SSTRP)

Well, what can I say. Fantastic server. The server is well protected by wonderful admins, such as Xalphox, Court, Saphira, and others. The server is extremely fun, too. You start out as a Recruit, and you must work your way up the ranks. You start as a M.I. (Mobile Infantry) soldier. You may be as an Engineer (Gawd, I love that job), Medic, Marauder, Inquisitor, or Fleet. The storyline is very well, as so are the missions. It also takes place between SST 2 and 3. You play mainly on the Audie Murphy, which is your ship. You passive most of the time, and will sometimes go on missions, depending on the amount of players on the server. However, as usual, there are some minor problems, and a few major problems as well. First of, when an admin is off, consider the server a mingefest. Also, it may take years to get an NCO rating. Anyways, the server gets 10 out of 10.

Live in Fear RP (LiF)

Well, LiF is not a Dark RP server, as it utilizes Tacoscript, just like SSTRP. However, its storyline is more fascinating. You play as someone who lives in the settlement of Dune, trying to survive the nuclear wastes, after China, after the Resource Wars, has started the Great War. Typically, China nuke the hell out of America. As this, you must battle the Enclave, or side with them. You can do the same with Slavers, Raiders, Outcasts, or the Brotherhood of Steel. Not only that, but you can also start your own mini-faction, perhaps as a mercenary. But beware, not all factions are welcoming, especially if you are in between their ironsights. LiF provides a fantastic RP experience, however, there are some problems. If you want to join a faction, that is a large, standard faction, with the exeption of the Outcasts, you must apply on their forums. I find this quite a time waster, as you rarely even are allowed in a faction. I understand that SSTRP is like that, however, you always start out as a soldier, not as some peasant whom gets shot all the time by bigger baddies. Another problem, is that the Slavers will pull a houdini and appear right behind you, as you mind your own business. The then shoot you, and you go unconscious. You later wake up in their camps, and you really cannot RP at all, whether its passive or not. LiF earns itself a 9 out of 10.

Fan 24/7

Fan 24/7 is your average joe Dark RP server. However, it is on 24/7. Not much to say, just that it gets a 7 out of 10, due to more admins than usual Dark RP servers. Beware, however, they can be adminging trolls, themselves.

Dark RP

Anyways, continuing my descriptions of Dark RP, if you are voted as Mayor, Civil Protection, et cetera, you have a lot more power over others in the server. Mayors can order their Civil Protection members, and as well put the city in a lockdown or start a lottery. They can also grant others gun licences. Civil Protection can arrest others, confiscate various objects, or simply tell you to move along, away from a crime scene. If you are a citizen, you basically have no role in the server. Despite these fascinating features, Dark RP includes some features that may even drive you away from the servers. First of all, there are mingebags that steal your weapon shipments, if you are a gun dealer. This can be extremely frustrating, as you put up barriers to protect your shipments. However, you later find yourself kicked or banned, due to prop blocking. Also, something EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING, some mingebags will also vote to demote you from your job. Once that happens, they steal your job, and you can no longer join that occupation group. Also, there is the infamous NLR, or New Life Rule. So, if you get killed by a mingebag scum, you cannot retaliate, for you supposedly cannot remember what happened, and are forced to start a new life. Out of 10, Dark RP gets a 6.
